During 2008 Ruud Martin and DGT agreed upon a first cooperation to investigate where Phoenix Chess Systems Revelation Chess Board Technology and DGT's Piece Recognition Technology could be joined into new products. As a first step the current Revelation Chess Board was available to customers on the Spielwarenmesse in Nürnberg. DGT was so kind to show this product to potential interested customers. At this time the two technologies are subject of further investigation and it is our intention to launch the combined product around April 2011. What the (hardware) specifications for this system will be are not yet known. Further information will be available during the development period.



April 2008, Ruud Martin offered a piece of art from the famous Dutch artist Jan Wolkers to Ben and Albert from DGT. The title of this piece is 'to bloom in the snow', a fitting motto and start for this cooperation.
